Discussion with women of flood-affected village in Pakistan
Karachi, Pakistan: BasicNeeds and HANDS are delivering the second workshop constituting over 30 organisation representatives all working on the psychosocial consequences of flooding over the past several years. Having trained a group of trainers at the first workshop several months ago representatives have returned to show how their projects developed at the time have now taken off. Successful psychosocial emergency work needs to be linked to the real life of ordinary people likely to be affected by the flooding as can be seen in the photos of the event.
